First Attempt

Here I go...my first blog. I'm back to my roots. Yup, I'm back to my home town...but I never thought I'd be living right across the street from the beach. Now when I mean right across, yes that is literal. The Lord has blessed me with a great house and awesome roommate.

After I came back in 05 everything is busy busy busy. I'm now a teacher at the school I attended in elementary. Believe it or not, it's hard to live in Hawaii. Actually I got island fever and had to leave. After 4 years at college, I'm not used to not having to travel during breaks. To help with my island fever, I left the island a little over a month ago and traveled up to the frozen tundra, Northland Baptist Bible College for a week. Only those of you familiar with Northland understand the irony. Yes. I know, why does a person from Hawaii vacation in Wisconsin? Well...the Lord has used that place in my life and I needed somewhere encouraging to go to. Northland was that place. Besides it was the most profitable place to be. I was able to see over 40 of my college friends. I thank the Lord for that opportunity. Sad to say though, I'll probably never see most of them again...unless I become a world traveler. But that's not happening.
